Colors of the Rainbow Cancer Event – Wednesday, November 18, 2009 For the past three years the employees of Douglas County Government have hosted a Passionately Pink for the Cure event, a one-day event designed to increase breast cancer awareness. Last year they raised $3534.30 with help from our sponsors, all of which was donated to the Susan G. Komen Foundation.  They have been asked by our colleagues and the community to raise awareness of all cancers. So this year, on Wednesday, November 18, they will be hosting a Colors of the Rainbow Cancer Event.   Marc Patoile is sponsoring an item for the silent auction and hopes you will join them in their cause: http://dccancerevent.wordpress.com/ http://dccancerevent.wordpress.com/007-2-bottles-of-wine-details-pending/
